Heart Coach Facilitator Training

Develop the skills to facilitate repair — and help others create the relationships they most deeply long for.

Most of us were never taught what to do when relationships get hard. We know how to communicate when things are going well. But when someone gets hurt, misunderstood or triggered, we often fall back on the patterns we know best: Defend. Blame. Withdraw. Please. Attack. Shut down. And yet there is another way. The skills of repair can be learned.

Heart Coach Facilitation Training is an advanced training for people who want to develop the capacity to guide others through relationship rupture — and towards greater safety, honesty, accountability, attunement and connection.

Because the goal isn't to fix or eliminate others’ conflicts. It's to become more masterful at offering attunement, insight and agency for others to navigate their way through them.

WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?

If you're a psychologist, counsellor, therapist, coach, healer, facilitator or trainer and you're wanting to take your professional practice to a deeper level, this training is for you.

It's also for people who don't work professionally in the helping professions, but ache for greater mastery in leading repair in the world — within their families, friendships, communities or workplaces.

You'll learn how to empower the people you work with — and the people you love — to:

• attune to their own experience before reacting

• hear another person's pain without becoming defensive

• communicate difficult truths without blame or condemnation

• validate experience without needing to agree with it

• distinguish intention from impact

• take responsibility without collapsing into shame

• hold two seemingly contradictory experiences as simultaneously valid

• navigate rupture without immediately moving towards disconnection

• find more skilful ways of meeting both people's needs.

Completion of the program certifies you to use the HEART COACH Communication Tools with clients, colleagues and those you love.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Maximum 12 participants

• 9 × 3-hour live group Zoom sessions, across 3 × 5-week trimesters

• 9 practical assignments, combining solo reflection and practice coaching in pairs

• 24 months access to all call recordings

• Group chat between sessions for support and integration

• 2 timezone options to support US, Australian and European participants

PREREQUISITE LEARNING

This is an advanced training. To qualify, you must first have completed one of the following with me:

• The Art of Repair (Group Coaching)

• 1:1 Coaching

• An in-person intensive (workshop or retreat)

The prerequisite ensures you already have an embodied understanding of the HEART COACH framework and have experienced applying these tools yourself, in your own inevitable relational upsets..

This training is where you take that learning from personal mastery into the practice of facilitating it for others. Because knowing the tools is one thing. Being able to help another human being use them when they're hurting is another.
