Group Coaching FAQs

  • Item description
  • You’ll learn how to skilfully navigate conflict in a way that consistently leads to deeper connection. You’ll become confident using practical tools to stay increasingly present to any moment of relationship upset with anyone in your life, and communicate in such a way as to allow both you AND them to be fully understood, such that your unmet needs and theirs can begin to be met. In doing so, you’ll grow trust, hope and openheartedness in al the relationships you cherish most. You’ll find testimonials here.

  • The 9 x weekly 2-hour calls will consist of three elements: each week I’ll ask participants to share the wins they are experiencing as they learn to apply the tools, then I’ll introduce the next component of skills development, then I’ll support individuals with the challenges that they encounter in applying the skills I teach. You’ll have access to the recordings and content for 12 months so you can replay and revise at any time.

  • Over the 15 years I’ve been teaching humans the tools to repair moments of relationship upset I have seen that group learning delivers the most value for my clients. In a group setting you not only get to witness your own growth in terms of resolving your relationship upsets, but you get to witness others applying the same tools to a wide variety of their relationships as well. This allows your learning to be far deeper, more integrated and more complete than you would receive in a 1:1 program. 1:1 support is available after the group program, to support your increasing mastery.

  • Both. Each group will typically consist of a mix of individuals and couples, men and women, partnered and non-partnered participants. The relationships we will be addressing are not just romantic, but also include relationships with our kids, parents, siblings, colleagues, friends, exes, you name it.

  • It’s natural to have doubts or concerns about revealing the tender aspects of our relationships in front of complete strangers. I focus very much on creating safety for all participants in the group to express their experiences by normalising and validating the very natural hurts, frustrations and disappointments we commonly find ourselves in. Participants commonly report feeling comfortable and ‘in the same boat’ as others from week 2 onwards. You’ll also never be asked to share anything that feels simply to private.

  • Yes, there’s time on the calls to receive direct coaching with me, and I also support each participant with their individual questions and challenges in the group chat between sessions.

  • Yes absolutely. I’ve transitioned to this model (group coaching first) to create more space for 1:1 support for individuals and couples who have completed the group coaching program. You’ll have the option of booking a package of 3 x sessions with me after the completion of the group program. The skills you learn in the group coaching will give you the foundation to make any 1:1 sessions you have with me far more productive and valuable.

  • I invite couples to join for the price of an individual registration ($AU2750). If you do so, each week one of you will be active on the call (sharing, receiving coaching), and the other will be passive (still on the call but not sharing or receiving coaching), so I maintain the group size as 8 active participants each week.

  • It’s natural to thing that ‘conflict’ means yelling and screaming and throwing things, but I use the term to denote any major or minor ‘upset’ in our relating to others: any disappointments, hurts, frustrations, resentment, confusion, or any moments we want to more skilfully speak our needs or address behaviour that’s upsetting to be around. You may notice, if you’re human, that there are some of those in your life!

  • It’s pretty common for participants to need to miss one or two of the live calls due to family/ life commitments and unforeseen demands. I ask that you just watch the replay of any missed sessions prior to the next call, so you stay on track with the group.

  • Yes, I run groups about 4 times a year. If you stay tuned via the group coaching waitlist or on my Instagram account you’ll be notified of future dates as registrations open.
